When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benito Neto sped through Inter MIAMI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. When Juan-Carlos Ruiz fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s protests and gave Juan-Carlos Ruiz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Juan-Carlos Ruiz hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Carlos Ruiz to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, José Planes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Cortez. Inter MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Planes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lauren Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mariano Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Neto's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Benito Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariano Cortez was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Neto in the 19th minute of play forced Inter MIAMI's goalkeeper Mariano Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Benito Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the match, Benito Neto notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez. Mariano Cortez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Neto in the 44th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Benito Neto put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Mariano Cortez. In the 48th minute, Lauren Rodriguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Neto was the one to do the kick off. Felix Racoviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Cortez having to interfere. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Benito Neto sped through Inter MIAMI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mariano Cortez. After 59 minutes, Felix Racoviță made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Inter MIAMI's Mariano Cortez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Cortez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benito Neto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 66 minute of play. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. made a substitution. Juan Amorebieta replaced Lauren Rodriguez. Benito Netos short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Mariano Cortez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 85 minutes into the match, Juan Amorebieta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mariano Cortez, 0-14. Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A.'s Txomin Astudillo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Neto in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Cortez saved Inter MIAMI from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Benito Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Cortez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15. A hard shot 95 in the game by Benito Neto from a close distance when the talented Mariano Cortez managed to make a qualified save. Inter MIAMI's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Neto got free with Mariano Cortez in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Los Pumas de Ocaña S.A. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inter MIAMI.
