But to his dismay, Svend Betz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Karl-Åke Kvist came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the FSX UNITED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Kvist couldn't finish the play. With his leg Adérito Palhares managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when FSX UNITED's Svend Betz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. GD JULIO DINIS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Svend Betz scored to the left of an out of position Adérito Palhares, making the score, 4-0. 37 minutes into the game, Svend Betz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adérito Palhares. Svend Betz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when GD JULIO DINIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. 王枫岚 didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GD JULIO DINIS's Adérito Palhares got control of the ball when Svend Betz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Svend Betz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adérito Palhares. The goal made the score 6-0. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Távora, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svend Betz made a kick off. After some careless play in the GD JULIO DINIS defense, Svend Betz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adérito Palhares. The GD JULIO DINIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adérito Palhares should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svend Betz in the 56th minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Adérito Palhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GD JULIO DINIS's Adérito Palhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svend Betz in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adérito Palhares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. FSX UNITED's Thomas Cochrane was substituted for Evelio Matetich. Karl-Åke Kvist hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, 王枫岚 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Salas in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adérito Palhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adérito Palhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Baesler in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Marcelo Salas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adérito Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 王枫岚 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Ye Wei made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Thomas Cochrane managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSX UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Cochrane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adérito Palhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Baesler in the 82nd minute of play forced GD JULIO DINIS's goalkeeper Adérito Palhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FSX UNITED walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
