The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Daman, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute, Ümit Daman made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Freddy Balendin made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Grant Irø sent off a good shot on target. Fausto Pinti in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Freddy Balendin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Grant Irø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Freddy Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ümit Daman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damiano Battisti having to make a save. Damiano Battisti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ümit Daman in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Ümit Daman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soda f c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ümit Daman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Berdoi made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Iosif Gherase. Ümit Daman might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Battisti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ümit Daman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Daman in the 37th minute of play forced Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Balendin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Moriggi in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Irø in the 44th minute of play forced Soda f c's goalkeeper Freddy Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Ümit Daman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ümit Daman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Pinti to strike the kick off in the second half. Damiano Battisti came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Soda f c's Ümit Daman. But to his dismay, Ümit Daman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 60thth minute of the game Ümit Daman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Eurospeed Asti getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Iosif Gherase hit a great ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ümit Daman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Damiano Battisti made a huge save. Soda f c were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Eurospeed Asti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabian Etor took the corner. The corner led Soda f c's Fabian Etor to fire away a dangerous shot which Damiano Battisti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jose Berdoi made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Iosif Gherase immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ümit Daman got free with Damiano Battisti in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Daman in the 91st minute of play. Grant Irø took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Balendin. Freddy Balendin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Soda f c players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
