An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Fei Xing in the 15th minute of play forced Galaxy Union FC's goalkeeper Atanasije Martać to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Kjønstad BF's corner Yu Ying Xiao fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atanasije Martać quite easily take care of the ball. Kjønstad BF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rasmus Moland in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Rasmus Moland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galaxy Union FC's Atanasije Martać did a great save. Atanasije Martać made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Fei Xing in the 20th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulino Azeredo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Amado Teles in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kjønstad BF's Yu Ying Xiao. In the 53rdth minute of the game Wang Fei Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galaxy Union FC's Atanasije Martać was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wang Fei Xing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Tiago Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Galaxy Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Barroso. After having played for 66 minutes, Wang Fei Xing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 96th minute, Wang Fei Xing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atanasije Martać was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.
