Manole Brănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Damiano Battisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Otelul Darmanesti's goal looked a bit too open when Elia Pietrantoni came free, but Nae Pavel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Vladimir Lenin in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Elia Pietrantoni came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Eurospeed Asti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elia Pietrantoni couldn't finish the play. Otelul Darmanesti's Nae Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Pinti in the 28th minute of play. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Berardinelli in the 30th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Otelul Darmanesti's Damiano Battisti threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Milosz Gabis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Berardinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Berardinelli in the 36th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damiano Battisti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gheorghe Şelaru made a great header on Otelul Darmanesti's corner, it was just that Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee showed Milosz Gabis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Milosz Gabis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A collision led to Otelul Darmanesti getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Vladimir Lenin hit a great ball. Nae Pavel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Moriggi in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Berardinelli in the 95th minute of play forced Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Eurospeed Asti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Eurospeed Asti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
