Atanasije Martać breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klaus Van Mellart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Atanasije Martać made a huge save. Galaxy Union FC's Atanasije Martać played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Madruga in the 14th minute of play. Atanasije Martać took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Palmiro Bettencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
