The Atlético Micaelense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervásio Sousa should have stopped the shot. Klaus Van Mellart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mandra Suherman made a huge save. Gervásio Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Farid Ohee in the 21st minute of play. Tantan Sundoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervásio Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Limus Nunggal's Mandra Suherman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmiro Bettencourt in the 51st minute of play. Asep Gustomi was slow to take the kick. During this time Limus Nunggal's players had a chance to rest. Farid Ohee made a great header on Limus Nunggal's corner, it was just that Atlético Micaelense's Gervásio Sousa managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 93rd minute Palmiro Bettencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mandra Suherman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atlético Micaelense supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Limus Nunggal's performance. The match ended with a win for Limus Nunggal.
