Zuberbühler FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 11th minute, Marciano Min made a precise shot to the right of Fermin Cambiasso. Rosario Central's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 17 minutes, Marciano Min managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Min was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Marciano Min notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rosario Central's Fermin Cambiasso. Fermin Cambiasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Vennerström in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes in the game, Toto Mansilla dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cirilo Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Baraquiels short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Napoleon Dziedelonis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Garay made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vilmantas Girdauskas. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Jonathan Iruinea replaced Marciano Min. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Baraquiel made a kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Saul Baumer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fermin Cambiasso, 0-4. The Zuberbühler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Napoleon Dziedelonis should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Florentino Lastur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Cambiasso came out of the goal and Florentino Lastur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toto Mansilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Dziedelonis having to interfere. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Martinovic in the 74th minute of play. Fermin Cambiasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Lastur in the 75th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Saul Lamberto replaced Mariano Berart. Zuberbühler FC's Abelardo Nardo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Remigio Giro in the 78 minute of the game.
