The crowd rose to their feet as Alkestis Papadopulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Candido Piedra. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City Torque's zone, Visen Allu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christophe Troxler came out of the goal and Visen Allu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillelme Lomas got free with Candido Piedra in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 14th minute of play. Candido Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Passot, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 19 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Jude Hylton. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Yves Passot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo City Torque's supporters rose to their feet, but Yves Passot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Piedra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Candido Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillelme Lomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Guillelme Lomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillelme Lomas got free with Candido Piedra in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 46th minute of play. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Allu in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Visen Allu to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Visen Allu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christophe Troxler was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Visen Allu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christophe Troxler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillelme Lomas in the 62nd minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Guillelme Lomas made a precise shot to the right of Candido Piedra. Altermundi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After 73 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Gu Sha Zhen. After 74 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Gu Sha Zhen. Altermundi FC's Seran Torrijo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gu Sha Zhen in the 82 minute of the game. Altermundi FC's Visen Allu got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ticho Covarrubias hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler got control of the ball when Visen Allu tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Visen Allu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
