Luca Langoni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Chayo Jauregui when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Chayo Jauregui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Langoni. Nikolai Ellelund kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, The Potters's Franck Parfelt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Chayo Jauregui. The tension between the The Potters and the Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Langoni to make the kick off.
