The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antoni Sowa came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vincent Blakeley could save by the left post. In the 9th minute Tosh Goodwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Korytkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Vincent Blakeley successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Vincent Blakeley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Olender. Maksymilian Korytkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Crouch in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gunners Puszczykowo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Calvin Clark was slow to take the kick. During this time Egg Chasers FC's players had a chance to rest. Reuben Markinson made a great header on Egg Chasers FC's corner, it was just that Gunners Puszczykowo's Maksymilian Korytkowski managed to reach the ball for a save. Reuben Markinson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Konrad Olender to strike the kick off in the second half. Vincent Blakeley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Sowa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 51 minutes into the match, Antoni Sowa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Blakeley. Egg Chasers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoni Sowa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Egg Chasers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Calvin Clark in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute Konrad Olender shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Blakeley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Konrad Olender ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Blakeley was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Peter Crouchs short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Maksymilian Korytkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vincent Blakeley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Olender, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 84th minute, Gunners Puszczykowo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Peter Crouch fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Norbert Wysocki hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Zdzislaw Kazanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Blakeley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Iwo Jankowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gunners Puszczykowo fully deserved thier win.
