When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Polo Quinteros put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jurre Everts. Polo Quinteros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jurre Everts having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Chano to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Polo Quinteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurre Everts was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Jurre Everts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Polo Quinteros went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Polo Quinteros took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurre Everts. Jurre Everts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Levan Poggenborg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Philip Nijhof's late challenge caught a Santa Lucia de Merlo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Nijhof helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Santa Lucia de Merlo booed when Seagulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Nijhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Seagulls defense, Polo Quinteros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jurre Everts. The Seagulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jurre Everts should have stopped the shot. Jurre Everts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levan Poggenborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Polo Quinteros might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurre Everts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Polo Quinteros ran back to his position shaking his head. Jurre Everts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Quinteros in the 35th minute of play. Levan Poggenborg scored 0-9 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurre Everts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Polo Quinteros took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurre Everts. Jurre Everts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young was substituted for Polo Quinteros. The Seagulls players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Lucia de Merlo were winning 0-10.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for M. Agus Young to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game M. Agus Young who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seagulls's Jurre Everts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute M. Agus Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Everts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jurre Everts didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-11 in the ordered_time% minute. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Ermegildo Salamon was substituted for Aldo Hartz. Agus Young shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurre Everts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jurre Everts was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute, M. Agus Young reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jurre Everts. The goal made the score 0-14. Jurre Everts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Agus Young in the 91st minute of the match. Santa Lucia de Merlo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnaldo Chano in the 96th minute. In the 100th minute, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jurre Everts. Jurre Everts yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. When the final whistle sounded Santa Lucia de Merlo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seagulls.
