The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Leerbels in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 5th minute Roni Coryn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roni Coryn in the 8th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Roni Coryn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurilio Duque was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Roni Coryn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurilio Duque was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eusko Zubicoeta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Dauwen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoud Van Gestel in the 38th minute of play. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Leerbels in the 39th minute of play. If Roni Coryn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurilio Duque came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Bacardi FC's Arnoud Van Gestel. But to his dismay, Arnoud Van Gestel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 45 minutes of play, Bacardi FC's Charlie Vercalsteren made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurilio Duque was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Maurilio Duque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roni Coryn's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Coryn, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With his leg Maurilio Duque managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bob Leerbels received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maurilio Duque came out and tried to block the shot, but Bob Leerbels slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 68th minute. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roni Coryn got free with Maurilio Duque in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maurilio Duque made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Bob Leerbels sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Roni Coryn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurilio Duque. Nova Soccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roni Coryn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 86th minute, Favila Villaren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurilio Duque was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roni Coryn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. With a little luck, Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque got control of the ball when Torsten Åkesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurilio Duque was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Arnoud Van Gestel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnoud Van Gestel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. When the match was over Bacardi FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nova Soccer throughout the match.
