Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Matai in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Mercurio came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pastor Domeka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurilio Duque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Domeka in the 11th minute of the match. Zenaido Aramoyana kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Boca Juniors's Pastor Domeka couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nova Soccer. Donat Collier might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Froylan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donat Collier ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Alfonso Froylan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Quispe in the 28th minute of play. Lucas Horna charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Horna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matijs Van Impe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Medero came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Artemio Libertad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurilio Duque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurilio Duque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Matai in the 40th minute of play. Maurilio Duque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Dantel Ayllon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dantel Ayllon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donat Collier made a kick off. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Inautzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurilio Duque was a little too slow when Arnulfo Matai got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-1. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Dejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Matijs Van Impe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donat Collier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Nova Soccer's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atilano Medero fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 74 minutes into the game, Piero Quispe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nova Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Nova Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piero Quispe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurilio Duque was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pastor Domeka. 76 minutes into the match, Atilano Medero notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque. Maurilio Duque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maurilio Duque was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Arnulfo Matai capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnulfo Matai really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 82 minutes in the game, Atilano Medero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maurilio Duque having to interfere. Maurilio Duque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Matai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Matai in the 85th minute of play forced Nova Soccer's goalkeeper Maurilio Duque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atilano Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurilio Duque having to interfere. Atilano Medero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 92nd playminute.
