NAPOLI were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Björklinge BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fulvio Grande took the corner. Hodei Sordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Grande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Alvaro Lupi got a free kick in the 16th minute. Achille Albanesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Ekenberg in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Alvaro Lupi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Alvaro Lupi managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.S.C. NAPOLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Lupi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hodei Sordo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Alvaro Lupi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hodei Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Björklinge BK's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Grande came free, but Hodei Sordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Fulvio Grande notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Björklinge BK's Hodei Sordo. Hodei Sordo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when S.S.C. Hodei Sordo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Lupi went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 45th minute, Fabrício Carmo made a precise shot to the right of Hodei Sordo. Björklinge BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The Björklinge BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.S.C. NAPOLI were winning 0-7.

S.S.C. NAPOLI made a substitution. Ciccio Bassani replaced Dennis Di Federico. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Lupi to strike the kick off in the second half. Hodei Sordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Bassani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Alvaro Lupi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hodei Sordo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Lupi in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hodei Sordo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Fulvio Grande almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Björklinge BK's Hodei Sordo did a great save. Alvaro Lupi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hodei Sordo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Grande did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Hodei Sordo 63 minutes into the match. Hodei Sordo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Grande in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match, Alvaro Lupi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hodei Sordo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. S.S.C. NAPOLI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulvio Grande in the 72nd minute. The corner led to S.S.C. NAPOLI's Fulvio Muzzolon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. S.S.C. NAPOLI were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Björklinge BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fulvio Grande took the corner. Björklinge BK made a substitution. Olle Brummer replaced Kent Warg. 77 minutes in the game Nils-Erik Igelström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Walter Wennerlund. Claes Högman lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Björklinge BK! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, S.S.C. NAPOLI's Alvaro Lupi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hodei Sordo. In the 85thth minute of the game Alvaro Lupi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björklinge BK's Hodei Sordo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Fulvio Grande almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Björklinge BK's Hodei Sordo did a great save. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Alvaro Lupi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Corrado Silvestre was substituted for Fulvio Muzzolon. After 95 minutes Björklinge BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fulvio Grande who took care of the corner kick. S.S.C. NAPOLI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
