The audience was convinced that Gocha Head Son's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Gau was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. If Humberto Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valentin Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gocha Head Son, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Osmundo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lech Urban. That made the score 1-0 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Barrera 2.0's Diogo Vinhas got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of FC Barrera 2.0 booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Filipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo Miccio in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Uriel Lleir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Otto Broers. With an all-out effort, FC Barrera 2.0's Valentin Gau threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enzo Miccio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Darío Ponga fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Motu's protests and gave Darío Ponga a yellow card for diving instead. Motu's Valentin Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boško Balaban in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Barrera 2.0 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
