Steve Kerr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Özbek, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Arce came free, but Mert Günok reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Mert Günok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Arce in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özgür Özbek to make the kick off. Steve Kerr came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Jarkko Laatikainen. But to his dismay, Jarkko Laatikainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özgür Özbek in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve Kerr saved Quebrachitos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Cahit Yanıker in the 85th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Steve Kerr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Futbol Sevenler Kulübü's Jarkko Laatikainen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
