The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Kalju Kaber could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Hermengildo Jaume however easily saved by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Garrapatita Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Sokol came free, but Hermengildo Jaume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Astor Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Garrapatita Futbol booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gencer Uluöz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Isidoro Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cemalettin Yeğin during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cemalettin Yeğin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garrapatita Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Turin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Szymon Sokol made a kick off. Hermengildo Jaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalju Kaber, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalju Kaber to maneuver through the defense. Sümer Üstek might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermengildo Jaume. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sümer Üstek ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute of the match, Alan Turin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mustafa Hamit Kutlu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The attack was good, but when Alan Turin in the 63rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Zaid Sağanalp's late challenge caught a Garrapatita Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zaid Sağanalp helped the player get up and apologised. Garrapatita Futbol played a much better game than Trabzon and deserved their victory. The Trabzon players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
