Çetin Teber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guto Taffarel having to interfere. Mehmet Halis Şensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes of play, LUIZ PANATO's Arlindo de Salles made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Van SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Aki Guardo scored to the left of an out of position Mehmet Halis Şensoy, making the score, 3-0. 21 minutes into the match, Van SK's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo de Salles came free, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mehmet Halis Şensoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo de Salles in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Aki Guardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 29th minute, Aki Guardo made a precise shot to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Van SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 32 minutes into the game, Aki Guardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Orlando Paraense scored 7-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orlando Paraense succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 9-0 in the 40th playminute. Mehmet Halis Şensoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo de Salles in the 42nd minute of play. Aki Guardo scored 10-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was a little too slow when Tarcisio Diniz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 11-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 11-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aki Guardo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Kutluay Hekimbaşı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Gualter Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Van SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet İlke İzzet to maneuver through the defense. Aki Guardo scored 12-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Halis Şensoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Van SK's Mehmet Halis Şensoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Paraense in the 66th minute of play. Mehmet Halis Şensoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aki Guardo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Arlindo de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Halis Şensoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Arlindo de Salles took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Halis Şensoy. Mehmet Halis Şensoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. Mehmet Halis Şensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aki Guardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Luiz Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Van SK's Mehmet Halis Şensoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Luiz Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Halis Şensoy was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Camargo in the 81st minute of play forced Van SK's goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Şensoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Halis Şensoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Kutluay Hekimbaşı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Halis Şensoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. A collision led to Van SK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yasin Batıhan hit a great ball. Van SK's Mehmet Halis Şensoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo de Salles in the 95th minute of play. Mehmet Halis Şensoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aki Guardo went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the LUIZ PANATO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
