Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Han Fan Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 2-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Arne Back elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stanny Stopa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henric Bållström in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Han Fan Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roar Klev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Han Fan Hong might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roar Klev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Han Fan Hong ran back to his position shaking his head. Roar Klev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Fan Hong in the 18th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Han Fan Hong made a precise shot to the right of Roar Klev. Mountainhammer United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Glemmingebro IF's zone, Jonatan Jansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanny Stopa came out of the goal and Jonatan Jansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulf Gallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Botvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Stanny Stopa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulf Gallin in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Arne Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanny Stopa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanny Stopa made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Arne Back sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute of the match, Ulf Gallin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanny Stopa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Back in the 44th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Stanny Stopa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Han Fan Hong to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Han Fan Hong got free with Roar Klev in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Han Fan Hong in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roar Klev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Glemmingebro IF defense, Arne Back kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanny Stopa. The Glemmingebro IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanny Stopa should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Bållström in the 64th minute of play forced Glemmingebro IF's goalkeeper Stanny Stopa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Ulf Gallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mountainhammer United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glemmingebro IF the free kick. The supporters of Glemmingebro IF booed when Mountainhammer United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Back recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Botvidsson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 74 minutes Glemmingebro IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henric Bållström who took care of the corner kick. Stanny Stopa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miren Gómez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glemmingebro IF made a substitution. Mark Vallin replaced Han Fan Hong. 79 minutes into the match, Jonatan Jansson notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Glemmingebro IF's Stanny Stopa. Stanny Stopa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the game, Arne Back cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Stanny Stopa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Mountainhammer United's Ulf Gallin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanny Stopa narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
