Romeu Carioca started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Orhan Akansel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aki Guardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Van SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Azevedo was slow to take the kick. During this time LUIZ PANATO's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Chiquinho Faria heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 12th minute Chiquinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alişan Gerdaneri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LUIZ PANATO were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Van SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Azevedo took the corner. The corner ended in Carlos Azevedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Van SK's Alişan Gerdaneri did a great save. 18 minutes into the match, Van SK's goal looked a bit too open when Aki Guardo came free, but Alişan Gerdaneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alişan Gerdaneri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Carioca in the 19th minute of the match. Alişan Gerdaneri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aki Guardo in the 25th minute of play forced Van SK's goalkeeper Alişan Gerdaneri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Van SK's Vefa Sümeroğlu got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the game, LUIZ PANATO's Romeu Carioca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alişan Gerdaneri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alişan Gerdaneri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imet Naschekin in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Aki Guardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alişan Gerdaneri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aki Guardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Carioca in the 42nd minute of play forced Van SK's goalkeeper Alişan Gerdaneri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Romeu Carioca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alişan Gerdaneri. Van SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeu Carioca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orhan Akansel made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Van SK's goalkeeper Alişan Gerdaneri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeu Carioca. After 55 played minutes Van SK got a freekick which was hit by Vefa Sümeroğlu. In the 56th minute, Aki Guardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alişan Gerdaneri was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Chiquinho Faria capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chiquinho Faria really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Arif Oğuz Ömürcan hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Van SK's goalkeeper Alişan Gerdaneri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Azevedo. In the 63rd minute, Pedro Luiz Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alişan Gerdaneri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aki Guardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Chiquinho Farias short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Alişan Gerdaneri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Van SK were furious when Yasin Batıhan was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, one of Van SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Van SK. After a rather tough play, LUIZ PANATO's Carlos Azevedo got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute LUIZ PANATO were awarded a corner. Carlos Azevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Carlos Azevedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Van SK's Alişan Gerdaneri did a great save. In the 93rd minute Chiquinho Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alişan Gerdaneri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 minutes of play, LUIZ PANATO's Romeu Carioca made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alişan Gerdaneri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Van SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LUIZ PANATO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
