Claudio Eguntsenti scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Cremonese's Tarcísio Coelho threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingvar Lundqvist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. César Prats's late challenge caught a Cremonese's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Prats helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cremonese booed when OMNI Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Cremonese's Květoslav Kubalík broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Lu Guang Lang was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Cremonese's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With his leg Jeremias Cruz managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when OMNI Club's Nicolas Bělunek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jeremias Cruz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Claudio Eguntsenti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 93 minute of play. Although Cremonese had been in control for most of the match, OMNI Club still came away with the win.
