Santo Jayaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Benedicto in the 16th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trescientos defense, Patxi Ramis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Jayaga. The Trescientos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Jayaga should have stopped the shot. Vicente Viniambres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Cano having to interfere. Santo Jayaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Benedicto in the 30th minute of play. Patxi Ramis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Benedicto got free with Santo Jayaga in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute of the match C.F PESTUZOS got a corner. Trescientos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Migúel Abascal ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on C.F PESTUZOS's corner Migúel Abascal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santo Jayaga quite easily take care of the ball. In the 96th minute Ugaitz Oñate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Cano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.F PESTUZOS played a much better game than Trescientos and deserved their victory. The Trescientos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
