The coaching staff of La Cosa Nostra protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Grigoriy Medved had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 35 minutes into the game, one of La Cosa Nostra:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joel Delfino had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Javier Bernard's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Joaquin Behe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Otterlei's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the game, La Cosa Nostra's Hans Otterlei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-10.

Hans Otterlei took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Behe. Joaquin Behe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-11. After 59 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Javier Bernard. Tytus Lepper kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Joaquin Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Rafel in the 67th minute of play. Marciano Bizen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-14. Marciano Bizen had several of the BERMEJO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-15 score and a disappointed Joaquin Behe as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Marciano Bizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Behe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Bizen in the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of La Cosa Nostra booed when BERMEJO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Behe having to interfere. Marciano Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Marciano Bizen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Behe. That made the score 1-18 in the 97 minute of play. La Cosa Nostra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
