Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Barbosa in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Fred Karlsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniël De Goeij. Fred Karlsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Doni Barbosa scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvar Öberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Mark in the 21st minute of play. The corner led Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Jacobo Mark to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniël De Goeij despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 27 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Allan Zonta. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Barbosa in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Jerrald. After 37 minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doni Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Limoeiro-PE FC's corner Doni Barbosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvar Öberg quite easily take care of the ball. Richard Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Doni Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniël De Goeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 46 minutes of play, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Cipriano Joachim made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniël De Goeij was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Richard Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Neto in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Öberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 55 minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Doni Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. Richard Neto struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Alvar Öberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limoeiro-PE FC. Richard Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alvar Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Club Atletico Rio Tercero were awarded a corner. Jacobo Mark went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Jerrald in the 73rd minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Jerrald scored 3-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniël De Goeij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Gino do Valle replaced Richard Neto. Jacobo Mark succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. If Gino do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Alejandro Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Jerrald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniël De Goeij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Limoeiro-PE FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
