In the 14thth minute of the game Markus Berg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Crăiță. 18 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's Alf Björk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Sayveon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Skark to make the kick off.
