After 6 minutes IFK Kik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juanito Gabucio who took care of the corner kick. Athletico Picapedrense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juanito Gabucio in the 9th minute. Sven-Oskar Jansson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Hristo Stoichkov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Gabrielsson. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to IFK Kik getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sven-Oskar Jansson hit a great ball. With a little luck, IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson got control of the ball when Hristo Stoichkov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krish Melin in the 21st minute of the match. When IFK Kik's Krish Melin in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Athletico Picapedrense's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristo Stoichkov got free with Folke Gabrielsson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25thth minute of the game Hristo Stoichkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Hristo Stoichkov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Folke Gabrielsson. The goal made the score 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Kik's zone, Reno Cartagena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Gabrielsson came out of the goal and Reno Cartagena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hristo Stoichkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Gabrielsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hristo Stoichkov ran back to his position shaking his head. IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hristo Stoichkov in the 34th minute of play. Folke Gabrielsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hristo Stoichkov went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Folke Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Crăiță in the 43rd minute of play. Hristo Stoichkov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Folke Gabrielsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hristo Stoichkov took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Gabrielsson. Folke Gabrielsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krish Melin to make the kick off. Folke Gabrielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hristo Stoichkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Olsman struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Jesus Sayveon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Kik. After 55 minutes of play, Athletico Picapedrense's Hristo Stoichkov made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Gabrielsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Lorenzo Jubera replaced Horaţiu Crăiță. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Zenon Klewinski replaced Reno Cartagena. Folke Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Sven-Oskar Jansson got a free kick in the 67th minute. IFK Kik made a substitution. Erling Bolin replaced Krish Melin. Athletico Picapedrense made a substitution. Orlondo Aguado replaced Hristo Stoichkov. After 68 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Jansson. Folke Gabrielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloi Fontanella in the 69th minute of the match. IFK Kik's Folke Gabrielsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloi Fontanella in the 79th minute of play. The Athletico Picapedrense fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Folke Gabrielsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloi Fontanella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlondo Aguado in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Gabrielsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in IFK Kik fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Athletico Picapedrense's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
