After a rather tough play, Sävedalen's Lennart Larsson got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gino de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jesus Sayveon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 17th minute of play forced Athletico Picapedrense's goalkeeper Jesus Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Athletico Picapedrense's Eloi Fontanella slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isaltino Durr. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Athletico Picapedrense's Jesus Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algitas Kaščiukaitis in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Sävedalen got a corner. Athletico Picapedrense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lennart Larsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sävedalen's Karl-Åke Berggren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ivón Nafría, made in the 29th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Eloi Fontanella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaltino Durr was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Jesus Sayveon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Ekeroth in the 85th minute. Junior Junior's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Jesus Sayveon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sävedalen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
