Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Olimpiu Rizea took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Vali Maghiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 6 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Felipo. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Håvard Bjørke scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Oto, making the score, 2-0. 10 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Rizea came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Oto was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Elias Abad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Abad really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 21 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Rizea notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Olimpiu Rizea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidio Oto. The goal made the score 6-0. Vali Maghiar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ovidio Oto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vinicio Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Olimpiu Rizea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 35 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Felipo. In the 36th minute, Håvard Bjørke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidio Oto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håvard Bjørke, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save OLYMPIACOS FC from getting a goal against them. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olimpiu Rizea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Fan Wen Nan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fan Wen Nan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Lore was the one to do the kick off. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almiro Saraiva in the 51st minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of OLYMPIACOS FC's goalie and right to Fan Wen Nan. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 55th minute Almiro Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almiro Saraiva in the 56th minute of play. When Olimpiu Rizea came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC Politehnica Timisoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olimpiu Rizea couldn't finish the play. Elias Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Manea in the 64th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almiro Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ovidio Oto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almiro Saraiva's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almiro Saraiva in the 67th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Manea in the 69th minute of play. Timmy Deckbergh struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ovidio Oto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Politehnica Timisoara. In the 75th minute, Ernest Manea made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 78th minute Olimpiu Rizea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Manea, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fan Wen Nan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. FC Politehnica Timisoara walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
