Pablo Lohitzun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Thanks to some nice moves Jeff Damen could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Crişan Taffarel however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Damen in the 80th minute of play forced Ciclista FC's goalkeeper Crişan Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Crişan Taffarel came out of the goal and Rui Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Asesinos Por Naturaleza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
