In the 18th minute Dilyan Uzunov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Ubelteso in the 86th minute of play forced Andino Sport Club's goalkeeper Yin Qi Xuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Donato Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andino Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Cordearo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Andino Sport Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
