Ubaldo Llorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Oséas Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Setara in the 15th minute of play forced Fervent Stalkers's goalkeeper Augusto Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Douglas Berger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Augusto Gaskon. The goal made the score 1-0. After 21 played minutes AMÉRICA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Correia. Oséas Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Donostia in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Cirilo Laurgain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fervent Stalkers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 28th minute Fervent Stalkers were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Donostia went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, AMÉRICA F.C.'s Leonard Setara got a free kick in the 29th minute. Oséas Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Rozarius in the 30th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Eleuterio Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AMÉRICA F.C.'s Oséas Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Augusto Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Setara, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute AMÉRICA F.C. were awarded a corner. Edmundo Rosa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Rosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Augusto Gaskon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 48 minutes into the game, Leonard Setara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AMÉRICA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fervent Stalkers the free kick. After 48 played minutes AMÉRICA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Setara.

In the 53rd minute Eleuterio Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Setara in the 60th minute of play forced Fervent Stalkers's goalkeeper Augusto Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fervent Stalkers's Augusto Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Berger in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Fervent Stalkers's Cirilo Laurgain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oséas Trancoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Fervent Stalkers's Augusto Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Camargo in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AMÉRICA F.C.'s zone, Ubaldo Llorian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Trancoso came out of the goal and Ubaldo Llorian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Ubaldo Llorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fervent Stalkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Llorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oséas Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The AMÉRICA F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fervent Stalkers's performance. The match ended with a win for Fervent Stalkers.
