Mansfield Town FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Bern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Galle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by CheersIsland FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Nilsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Mansfield Town FC's players had a chance to rest. Niclas Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mansfield Town FC's goalkeeper Hampus Gallberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andreas Sandell in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niclas Galle saved CheersIsland FC from getting behind. Hampus Gallberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Manuel González in the 33rd minute of play. The corner led Mansfield Town FC's Marcus Nilsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Niclas Galle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Mansfield Town FC booed when CheersIsland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Browald didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andreas Sandell came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Mansfield Town FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andreas Sandell couldn't finish the play. Andreas Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Galle having to interfere. If Andreas Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes CheersIsland FC got a freekick which was hit by Xabel Briceño. If Maximilian Seger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mansfield Town FC made a substitution. Michael Gudmundsson replaced Andreas Sandell. Aleksander Abrahamsson charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Niclas Galle stood somewhat misplaced when Michael Gudmundsson came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 80 minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Alex Stor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CheersIsland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Stor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
