In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Vuelva in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Omiros Nomikos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Vanbuyten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Peroalfonso's late challenge caught a Portus Ganda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Peroalfonso helped the player get up and apologised. Tony Vanbuyten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cefero Lluch in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cefero Lluch in the 23rd minute of play forced Portus Ganda's goalkeeper Tony Vanbuyten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portus Ganda's Tony Vanbuyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Vuelva in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Knopek in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Txilar Redin saved I.A.S.A from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, I.A.S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ourente Echart to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, I.A.S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Knopek came free, but Txilar Redin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jüri Djorkaeff in the 34th minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Txilar Redin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Vanbuyten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cefero Lluch in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when I.A.S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joey Tribbiani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omiros Nomikos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Konrad Knopek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Portus Ganda's zone, Joey Tribbiani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Vanbuyten came out of the goal and Joey Tribbiani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Ourente Echart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. I.A.S.A's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portus Ganda the free kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Edson Vuelva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. Portus Ganda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edson Vuelva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Txilar Redin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Portus Ganda's Konrad Knopek shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Portus Ganda booed when I.A.S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Vanbuyten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xavon Rio during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, I.A.S.A's Xavon Rio got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Edson Vuelva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Vanbuyten. In the 89th minute, Frederic Van Caels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Txilar Redin managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Portus Ganda's Jüri Djorkaeff fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Joey Tribbiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jüri Djorkaeff got free with Txilar Redin in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. I.A.S.A's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
