An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 5th minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Txilar Redin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC CSKA were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after I.A.S.A's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tanel Kiik took the corner. Tanel Kiik made a great header on FC CSKA's corner, it was just that I.A.S.A's Txilar Redin managed to reach the ball for a save. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cefero Lluch in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ahmet Refik Ülgü notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of I.A.S.A's Txilar Redin. Txilar Redin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joey Tribbiani got free with Georgi Velinov in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Vuelva in the 24th minute of play. Georgi Velinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cefero Lluch in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Chepe Gerica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Refik Ülgü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Txilar Redin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Refik Ülgü's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Vuelva in the 37th minute of play. Georgi Velinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joey Tribbiani in the 40th minute. Ahmet Refik Ülgü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, I.A.S.A was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Peroalfonso to maneuver through the defense. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC CSKA from getting a goal against them. After the first half FC CSKA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Txilar Redin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Refik Ülgü's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Tribbiani came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cefero Lluch in the 58th minute of play. Chepe Gerica's late challenge caught a FC CSKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chepe Gerica helped the player get up and apologised. Chepe Gerica hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 67th minute of play forced I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Txilar Redin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. I.A.S.A's Txilar Redin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Tribbiani in the 76th minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txilar Redin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 84th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, I.A.S.A's goalkeeper Txilar Redin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tenyo Fakirov. Ruslan Dzhalev might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Txilar Redin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruslan Dzhalev ran back to his position shaking his head. Txilar Redin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruslan Dzhalev in the 92nd minute of play. Bradley de Nooijer hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. FC CSKA were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over I.A.S.A's much stronger midfield.
