AC Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvaro Sforza in the 4th minute. After taking down the ball on AC Roma's corner Alvaro Sforza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gerhart Krainert quite easily take care of the ball. Gerhart Krainert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Sforza went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 16 played minutes Sletteenge got a freekick which was hit by Sam Hartlang. After a defensive mix-up in Sletteenge's zone, Javier Della Francesca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerhart Krainert came out of the goal and Javier Della Francesca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Sforza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerhart Krainert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Armin Ascenzi made a great header on AC Roma's corner, it was just that Sletteenge's Gerhart Krainert managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Sletteenge's zone, Alvaro Sforza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerhart Krainert came out of the goal and Alvaro Sforza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The AC Roma fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Buster Desting could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Brillante made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Sforza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerhart Krainert was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After the first half AC Roma were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fritz Grauholt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sletteenge's Gerhart Krainert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Sletteenge from getting a goal against them. Gerhart Krainert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Sforza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Gerhart Krainert managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when AC Roma's Javier Della Francesca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alvaro Sforza managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Sforza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerhart Krainert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sletteenge's Donald Liktensteen was substituted for Fritz Grauholt. Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Chificeac kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Chificeac. After having played for 94 minutes, Donald Liktensteen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sletteenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Liktensteen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th match minute, Sletteenge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Hartlang to maneuver through the defense. AC Roma's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
