The audience was convinced that Du Yuan Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Murillo was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Baldomero Chano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Richard Murillo made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Felin to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronny Skytt in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Murillo saved CSD Concepción from getting behind. But to his dismay, Baldomero Chano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 80 minutes into the match, LVCVS AVGVSTI's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Fernandes came free, but Rosario Escarza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Calixto Urquidi. Richard Murillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Chano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manuel Lara. Richard Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Manuel Antonio Amenábar in the 93rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Rosario Escarza kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
