Ruperto Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save MZ Fénix from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Masters United F.C.'s Florencio Rafe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Zajonc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Masters United F.C.'s goalkeeper Enrique Bologna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enrique Bologna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the MZ Fénix defense, Florencio Rafe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. The MZ Fénix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Zajonc should have stopped the shot. Pankracy Zajonc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Rafe in the 32nd minute. Masters United F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
