The audience was convinced that Afanasiy Mozolin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Sampaio was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Cosme Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulisses Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ursino in the 24th minute of play forced Felizberto EC's goalkeeper Marcus Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Daniel Järvenperä dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Sampaio, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Furtado made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Eliézer Furtado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cosme Francesco. Eliézer Furtado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Abelardo Rocendo hit a great ball. Felizberto EC's Marcus Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Järvenperä in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Ursino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Sampaio. Felizberto EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Ursino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 70th minute Hermengildo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Järvenperä ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Ursino in the 77th minute of play forced Felizberto EC's goalkeeper Marcus Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeferson Furtado struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Cosme Francesco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Felizberto EC. Marcus Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Felizberto EC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Adrio came free, but Marcus Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Järvenperä scored 7-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Felizberto EC defense, Abelardo Rocendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Sampaio. The Felizberto EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Sampaio should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that MDQ Raptors FC were the better team. MDQ Raptors FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
