The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Zbyszek Kaider successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Kernsdorf SSA's Gabriel Moscardó got a free kick in the 16th minute. Zbyszek Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bircan Serdar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yanick Schautens hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kernsdorf SSA's Zbyszek Kaider got control of the ball when Tran Hauwaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benne Beaufort got free with Zbyszek Kaider in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ye Zheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Guerreiro's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Bondel in the 41st minute of play forced Flamenco United's goalkeeper Ye Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariusz Bondel made a kick off. Ye Zheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstanty Major in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Gwidon Cichocki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamenco United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamenco United fully deserved thier win.
