Ralph Sanger came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Herberto Leyva. But to his dismay, Herberto Leyva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Noel Travassos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Echavarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, B O B I S A's Gerry Fleischer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grant Moco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grant Moco came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by B O B I S A's Gerry Fleischer. But to his dismay, Gerry Fleischer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of B O B I S A booed when Orihuela Club de Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Gerry Fleischer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Moco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fernando Manzano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ralph Sanger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Grant Moco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roth Winiker went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 38th match minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Echavarri to maneuver through the defense. Ralph Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Manzano in the 44th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Fernando Manzano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Manzano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralph Sanger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira was substituted for Fernando Manzano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

In the 53rd minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ralph Sanger. Ralph Sanger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Ralph Sanger made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Godofredo Echavarri sent off a good shot on target. Godofredo Echavarri struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ralph Sanger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orihuela Club de Fútbol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Figueira in the 62nd minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, B O B I S A's Glen Stäuble got a free kick in the 66th minute. Grant Moco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Pfeifer in the 69th minute of play. Gerry Fleischer scored 4-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Moco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger got control of the ball when Vladimiro Figueira tried to sneak it across the goal line.
