Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo MacAlister in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvester Eastham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giorgi Mamardashvili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esbjörn Fågel in the 20th minute. The supporters of Real Ale Madrid booed when Akira アキラ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gecel Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Seb Thackray from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Giorgi Mamardashvili's attention. Akira アキラ's Thiago Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walmyr Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, Akira アキラ's Giorgi Mamardashvili got control of the ball when Esbjörn Fågel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute, Fernando Grealish reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giorgi Mamardashvili. The goal made the score 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Alfredão Fernandez's late challenge caught a Real Ale Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
