If Fernando Manzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Orihuela Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Litago to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, ramirez fc's Karambha Queguiner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karambha Queguiner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ramirez fc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karambha Queguiner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira was substituted for Fernando Manzano. The wind increased when Godofredo Echavarri made the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Figueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Dante Fernandes made a huge save. Grant Moco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Radziszewski in the 55th minute of the match. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Herberto Leyva in the 59th minute. Herberto Leyva made a great header on Orihuela Club de Fútbol's corner, it was just that ramirez fc's Dante Fernandes managed to reach the ball for a save. Vladimiro Figueira struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dante Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orihuela Club de Fútbol. Orihuela Club de Fútbol made a substitution. Mihăiţă Florescu replaced Júlio Britto. In the 65th minute, Vladimiro Figueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Pascal Trefzer was substituted for Ioan Felix. Godofredo Echavarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dante Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Vladimiro Figueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimiro Figueira's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute, Vladimiro Figueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Vladimiro Figueira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86th play minutes Vladimiro Figueira shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Dante Fernandes and just under the crossbar into goal. Vladimiro Figueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 92 played minutes ramirez fc got a freekick which was hit by Marian Radziszewski. 93 minutes into the game, Vladimiro Figueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Fernandes. Vladimiro Figueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The Orihuela Club de Fútbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orihuela Club de Fútbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
