Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) 8 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Linhares came free, but Grant Moco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamilton Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Manta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Gouveia was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Orihuela Club de Fútbol's corner Herberto Leyva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gil Gouveia quite easily take care of the ball. Gil Gouveia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 24th minute of play. When Paulo Quintela fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aveiro FC's protests and gave Paulo Quintela a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th match minute, Aveiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Quintela to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Manta got free with Gil Gouveia in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leopoldo Manta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gil Gouveia made a huge save. Gil Gouveia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Echavarri in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Cordarell Guasch dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gil Gouveia, 1-0. In the 47th minute, Leopoldo Manta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Gouveia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Echavarri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Egídio Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Gouveia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Manta went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Leopoldo Manta scored 4-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Gouveia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaspar Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Grant Moco made a huge save. Gil Gouveia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 62nd minute of play. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Mihăiţă Florescu was substituted for Júlio Britto. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Dolfos Cartagena was substituted for Ioan Felix. Cordarell Guasch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Gouveia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Gil Gouveia came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Cordarell Guasch. But to his dismay, Cordarell Guasch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Godofredo Echavarri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Gouveia having to interfere. Grant Moco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Gouveia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 87th minute of the match. Gil Gouveia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Manta in the 89th minute of play. Silvano Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Grant Moco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aveiro FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
