In the 17th minute Teobaldo Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Uraricuera EC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Phelipe came free, but Chiquinho Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Pedro Munhoz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elvio Pacho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Uraricuera EC's zone, Hegoi Griful stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Peres came out of the goal and Hegoi Griful tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Phelipe was the one to do the kick off. Chiquinho Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegoi Griful, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Uraricuera EC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz Gonçalves hit a great ball. Teobaldo Phelipe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Chiquinho Peres when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Wesley de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uraricuera EC's protests and gave Wesley de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Glauco Aparecido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cha Fe FC's Rolando Acuña was substituted for Rogelio Ibon. Glauco Aparecido hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jimeno Atarrabi charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Atarrabi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute of the match Kephalos Gomatos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elvio Pacho skillfully saved the ball. 史挺宇 struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Elvio Pacho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uraricuera EC. Chiquinho Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Phelipe in the 84th minute of play forced Uraricuera EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Uraricuera EC's Rafa da Costa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafa da Costa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uraricuera EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafa da Costa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uraricuera EC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Munhoz in the 90th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Uraricuera EC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Gonçalves. Chiquinho Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Atarrabi in the 96th minute of the match. The Uraricuera EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cha Fe FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cha Fe FC.
