Lucas Beltran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genady Lagutov having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Beltran got free with Genady Lagutov in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Mikita Mikulchik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Genady Lagutov made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Lucas Beltran sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The tension between the FORTALEZA and the Crisólia FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, one of FORTALEZA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lucas Beltran walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Genady Lagutov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Baiano in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rdth minute of the game Lucas Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FORTALEZA's Genady Lagutov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute, Zahar Sazanovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FORTALEZA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genady Lagutov should have stopped the shot. After 76 minutes of play, Crisólia FBPA's Lucas Beltran made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genady Lagutov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genady Lagutov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Cléberson Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Crisólia FBPA's Lucas Beltran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genady Lagutov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After a rather tough play, FORTALEZA's Mechyslav Zolov got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Cléberson Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikita Mikulchik hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
