Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elpidio Ekain to make the kick off. Pedro Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Otsando Fierro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match ARES FC DeusDeFutbol got a corner. Ñacuñán AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Otsando Fierro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ian Andersson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pedro Mercurio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pedro Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Muñoz in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Andersson in the 95th minute of play forced Ñacuñán AC's goalkeeper Pedro Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Bartoleme kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Ñacuñán AC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
