Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano van Beek in the 12th minute of play. After 15 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Adriano van Beek. After some careless play in the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC defense, Adriano van Beek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abelardo Janpier. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abelardo Janpier should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano van Beek in the 33rd minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano van Beek in the 34th minute of play. Todd Gronow received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Domingo Bulnes came out and tried to block the shot, but Todd Gronow slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 36th minute. Roberto Antoni hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Todd Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Todd Gronow was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes ✪ XV de Umarizal got a freekick which was hit by Adriano van Beek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano van Beek in the 55th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a corner. ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Agüero ran over to the corner to take the kick. Domingo Bulnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Bulnes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow. But to his dismay, Todd Gronow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano van Beek got free with Abelardo Janpier in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano van Beek came free, but Abelardo Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Telmo Simões was substituted for Adriano van Beek. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Régis Madureira replaced Valdomiro Ribeiro. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén was substituted for Zula Turek. In the 69th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Antoni to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Gronow came free, but Domingo Bulnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Telmo Simões. In the 76th minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 78th minute of play. Todd Gronow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Bulnes having to interfere. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Gronow in the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Régis Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ✪ XV de Umarizal's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abelardo Janpier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the ✪ XV de Umarizal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC.
