The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Ömer Halisdemir kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Vítor Mazza. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's José Vítor Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Cachoeira Paulista F.c from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Vítor Mazza. That made the score 3-0 after 11 minutes of play. 15 minutes into the match, Ömer Halisdemir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Vítor Mazza, 4-0. José Vítor Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömer Halisdemir went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ömer Halisdemir took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for José Vítor Mazza to make any attempt to save it. If Karl-Åke Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömer Halisdemir went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. José Vítor Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Cachoeira Paulista F.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aníbal Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Ömer Halisdemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Mazza having to make a save. After 40 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Orestas Ancikas. 43 minutes into the game, Ömer Halisdemir recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Vítor Mazza. Ömer Halisdemir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 9-0. Aníbal Moreno hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dida Campidelis made a kick off. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Lucjan Bochinski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aníbal Moreno in the 53 minute of the game. José Vítor Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Karl-Åke Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Vítor Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömer Halisdemir to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cachoeira Paulista F.c's zone, Ömer Halisdemir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Vítor Mazza came out of the goal and Ömer Halisdemir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 played minutes Cachoeira Paulista F.c got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Moreno. 68 minutes into the match, Cachoeira Paulista F.c's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Halisdemir came free, but José Vítor Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zawisza Bydgoszcz were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Cachoeira Paulista F.c's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucjan Marchefka took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Kazimierz Gaszynski advanced and headed the ball into goal, 11-0 in the 70th minute. Ömer Halisdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. José Vítor Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ömer Halisdemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Mazza having to make a save. In the 80th minute, Ömer Halisdemir made a precise shot to the right of José Vítor Mazza. Cachoeira Paulista F.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 84th minute, Ömer Halisdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor Mazza was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Răzvan Brădean took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Vítor Mazza. José Vítor Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. If Răzvan Brădean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute Răzvan Brădean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Brădean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Vítor Mazza was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
