Ercole Carnevale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13thth minute of the game Valdomiro de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Chale in the 14th minute of play. Amerigo Minicucci kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Lionel Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Teodoro Chale sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Santoryu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro de Godoi came free, but Ercole Carnevale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro de Godoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ercole Carnevale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdomiro de Godoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro de Godoi in the 34th minute of play. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Nero's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Amerigo Minicucci in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Romando Futebol Clube's André Sundström. Ercole Carnevale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro de Godoi in the 40th minute of play. When Fausto Rosetta fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santoryu FC's protests and gave Fausto Rosetta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Santoryu FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fausto Rosetta hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Amerigo Minicucci with Teodoro Chale as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdomiro de Godoi to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Dennis Nero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ercole Carnevale made a huge save. Santoryu FC's Ercole Carnevale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Santoryu FC from getting a goal against them. Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Nero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Santoryu FC got a corner. Romando Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elia Strano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santoryu FC's Dennis Nero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75th minute Niva Bellido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercole Carnevale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niva Bellido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Romando Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Romano came free, but Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrio Di Massa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Demetrio Di Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Niva Bellido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ercole Carnevale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes Santoryu FC got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Di Massa. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santoryu FC's goalkeeper Ercole Carnevale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cesare Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubén-Osvaldo Cousillas having to interfere. Romando Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
